Once again, going to hold a photography contest. Rules are as follows. Please contribute and have fun with this! Good luck, everyone!

January's category

Open (anything).
There is no specific credentials to fill this month. Simply the best photo you have from the month of January.

The rules:

1. Images must be taken during the month of January 2010.
2. Only one photograph may be submitted per user.
3. Only minimal post (photoshop, etc) is allowed. This contest is about photography, not digital manipulation.
4. Photos may be submitted as colour, greyscale or duotone
5. No NSFW may be submitted. Curious what classifies? See the rules.
6. No identifiables on the photograph. This includes watermarks, framing, copyright, etc. Photos are to be kept anonymous
7. Photos must have not been shown on this forum. If they have been posted here before, they can't be used for the competition.
8. During voting, please the voters make up their own mind. Don't post on the board, or approach your friend and say "Vote for #3" Let the photos do the talking.

Submission:

1. Photos must be emailed to viper24992001@hotmail.com with "TM6 Photo Contest" as the subject. Please include your TM6 screen name in the body of the email.
2. Ideally, the images should be no larger than 800x600 (landscape) or 600x800 (portrait). If you're unsure of how to re-size, email me your full resolution, and I will re-size it.
3. Please no RAW. Make submissions in jpeg format.


Photos due by Monday, February 1st at 12:00AM EST


If you have any questions about photography, ways to improve shots, etc... just ask. That's what this subforum is about! While it's a thrill to compete, it's even an even bigger accomplishment to help others develop their photographic skill. This is a contest, but bigger than that, it's trying to get some activity on the board and create a sense of community. Have fun!

Only a few days left. Comon' boys. I know a lot of you like taking photos. No reason why you can't submit something!

Only person to submit a photo was Chad. Congrats. Not going to start up a contest again until I get some good reaction from people that want to participate.
